Executive Team
Richard Kain
General Manager and Founder
Richard Kain is the General Manager of TriplePoint. Kain has spent the last decade building his experience in corporate communications, product public relations, and public affairs with a variety of public companies and start-ups. As general manager, Kain is responsible for the operations of TriplePoint and provides strategy, counsel and corporate communications guidance to the agency’s clients. Kain is an active angel investor. His investments include Telltale Games, Mindfuse Games, Unknown Worlds Entertainment, Life360, Lefora, Ready Financial, and 9Spaces. Previous investments included Rupture.com (acquired by Electronic Arts, NASDAQ: ERTS)) and FonJax (acquired by Keynote Systems (NASDAQ: KEYN).) TriplePoint on select occasions will work for equity participation in our clients as well. Kain began his career with Fleishman-Hillard in Los Angeles, where he provided counsel to a wide array of clients and worked with a number of companies in the videogame space including Activision, id Software, and Sony PlayStation.
Julia RoetherVice President
Julia Roether is Vice President of TriplePoint, bringing more than 13 years of experience in the interactive entertainment, brand management, and public relations arenas on both the agency and client side. The head of TriplePoint’s Los Angeles office, Roether is responsible for providing strategic counsel and overseeing clients. Prior to joining TriplePoint, she worked for Golin/Harris where she oversaw public relations activities for Nintendo in the United States, and spearheaded the hardware launches for the Nintendo Wii and DS as well as Nintendo properties such as Mario, Zelda and Metroid. Prior to Golin/Harris, Roether was a senior manager of corporate communications at Activision Inc., where she oversaw implementation and execution of media relations for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, X-Men, and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 2. Roether began her career in the interactive entertainment industry as a public relations manager for Interplay Productions.
Eddiemae JukesVice President
Eddiemae has been with TriplePoint since 2002, and has worked with clients including Electronic Arts, Disney Interactive Studios, LEGO, and Namco Bandai Games. In her role as Vice President, Eddiemae is responsible for managing a team at TriplePoint and overseeing the execution of strategic plans, developing messaging, and providing counsel on product and corporate PR. Her expertise in public relations for games runs the gamut from casual and children’s games, to MMOs such as Warhammer Online. She has spoken at industry events including Austin GDC and GCDC, and organized the PR for Games Conference. Eddiemae holds a BA in Communications from Stanford University.
